ACE Football Academy founders Jamie Crellin & Matt Whitehead paid a visit to Worthing Children’s Hospital on Thursday along with there mascot ‘Chase the Ace’ to deliver presents which were brought with the money that was raised at their annual awards evening. 

ACE Football Academy host an annual awards evening every year to reward their players for their hard work and dedication over the past 12 months. Every year ACE choose a different organisation to benefit from the raffle profit on the night. 

Co Founder Jamie Crellin said ‘Thursday was such a special and emotional afternoon for me, for our academy to be able to help at a time of year when children should be at home enjoying such a magical time of year with their family and friends, these children for one reason or another are in hospital, we wanted to do something to make such a difficult time a little bit easier’ 

ACE Football Academy, ‘The home of football football education’ is a football coaching provider based in Sussex that offers opportunity for everyone. Co founder Matt Whitehead said ‘It was our 4th year running the awards evening and it was the best yet, we had over 140 children attend to receive the recognition that they deserve and it was an all-round cracking evening. I would personally like to say thank you to the companies that donated raffle prizes.

Harrison Ashcroft walked away with the top ACE Star of the year award while Lewis Stevens, Joshua Clevett, Lucas Robinson, Callum Loughlin, Jenson Blackman and Reece Boiling picked up the special recognition awards.
